3. THAI SMOOTHIE & GRILL

PHONE: 671.929.8534
LOCATION: Leo Palace intersection, Ordot-Chalan Pago

I like that this little food stand is in Ordot and not jammed somewhere in Tumon or Tamuning. It was a nice change to enjoy a hot meal at a picnic table in a village I rarely visit. What wasn’t nice - the bothersome flies. That aside, they do a good job. I’m not such a Thai cuisine fan, but I liked many things about this place. We ordered Chicken Penang and Chicken Pad Thai – pretty standard order from my limited experiences. Both were good – taste, portions and price ($14 total). Perhaps the Chicken Penang could’ve done with less coconut milk, but it was tasty nonetheless. We were served rather quickly and they seemed to have a pretty steady crowd coming to pick-up to-go orders, which is a good sign. Would I come back? Yes, but either the flies go…or I’ll have to jump on the to-go band wagon. I give Thai Smoothie a [B] rating. *Perhaps it might’ve been a good idea to actually try a Thai smoothie.  ~ La-Di Da-Di

FOOD: Ordered the Phad Thai, Penang, and BBQ pork. All good.

PRICE: Prices were reasonable. 1.25 per BBQ stick, 8.00 for Penang, and 6.00 for the phad-thai.

PLACE: It's a cute stand but good luck trying to eat without being swarmed by flies!

My overall personal rating: *B+*  ~ CAPEESH
