FOOD: I ordered the Macadamian-Crusted Mahi and the French Onion soup. The Mahi was cooked perfectly, but the seasoning had way too much salt. If the chef lessened the salt, or added a complimenting sweet or tangy sauce on the side, it would have been excellent. I would order the Mahi again, but with the message, “light on the salt please.”
I am a French Onion Soup fan and the soup was not bad. I was expecting the cheese and bread in the soup but a cheese bread was served on the side instead. Although good, I prefer the cheese and bread in the soup. I did get to try the poke and sushi as appetizers…both were enjoyable.
PRICE: The Mahi was 18.95 and the French onion soup was 5.95
PLACE: The place is nice and if they had a consistent decorative theme it would be nicer…Maybe pictures of shorelines on the wall (I’m just saying). Service was good, however, if you’re ordering from the bar you might be waiting a while.
My overall personal rating: *B* <Pretty good for a restaurant that just opened > ~ CAPEESH

I’ve been missing The Venue ever since it departed the streets ofAgana , so when Shoreline came along, it seemed like a good idea – not a replacement, just a new option. What I like most is that it offers the combination of food, music and drinks all in one place. They’re still new, so I know there’s a lot of fine tuning to be done. I ordered the Fish Tacos ~ the fish portion seemed too little and the rice too much, but I ended up being pleasantly satisfied at the end of the meal. We gave their appetizer menu a good shot -- Poki Skewers, a Dragon Roll and French Onion Mushroom Soup. I’d say all hit the spot. It’s clean, spacious and the staff were friendly with good suggestions for a newcomer. But those drinks took way too long (and they couldn’t find the Merlot). Would I come back? Most definitely. I give Shoreline a [B+] rating, and anxiously await their sushi menu and nightly entertainment. ~ La-Di Da-Di
