Satisfied. The restaurant was a little sparse, but after enjoying the service and the cuisine, I imagine Island Napu has carved out a regular clientele for itself. Serving up all kinds of “Japanese comfort food”, I decided to go for the Mahi Rice Bowl with three fillets on a bed of rice and vegetables. The bowl alone would’ve been enough to appease my dinner craving, but it was complete with a plate of fresh green salad and hot miso soup all for $11.50. The Ahi Poke could’ve been a meal more than an appetizer - $7.00 and enough to save some for later. Needless to say, they’re generous with their portions and the wait time was hardly a wait. Would I come back? Definitely. This weekend in fact. I give Island Napu an “A” rating. ~ La-Di Da-Di

FOOD: Ahi Poke - Good
BEEF TAPA BOWL |
Salad (Japanese dressing) - Good
Beef Tapa Bowl - Good
Beef Tapa Bowl - Good
PRICE: The Ahi Poke was $7.00 and the beef bowl came with a salad for about $10.00.
PLACE: It’s a casual atmosphere that mainly serves rice bowls. If you’re not expecting anything fancy, it’s a good place to have a quick meal and the service is good.
My overall personal rating: *A-* ~ CAPEESH
